Grandmother loves to read to me.
Having a love for books, she is planting that seed.
Reading to a child gives great joy,
Whether it’s for a girl or a boy.
Reading aloud is a very good thing,
Be it stories, poems, or songs to sing.
Grandmother reads to me each day,
It’s a blessing the Lord sends my way.
I hear the love in her reading voice.
And in the Lord’s love I will rejoice.
