I'm Repeating Myself
It has been a very rainy day here in good old Missouri. What can chase away the rainy day blahs? A note from an old friend of course. I had mentioned in a post some time ago about the importance of writing letters/notes to people, not an email, but an honest to goodness snail mail letter. Today I was the recipient of such a letter. I can't tell you how much it meant to me and how it brought a smile to my face, as I opened up my umbrella to go back out into the rain. My friend Cheryl doesn't live out of town either. She lives about fifteen minutes from me. The rest of my day was glorious all because of the joy her short sweet note gave me. How about it, fellow bloggers? Let's choose a friend and surprise them with a snail mail surprise for their mailbox. I am sure we will bring a smile to their faces too.

Oooh, how wonderful for you, Barb! I love little surprises like that, too. And to think that something so unexpensive to send, is so richly received! Bliss!
ReplyDeleteIsn't something like that a wonderful surprise - glad you got it. And no expectations. Sandie
ReplyDeleteHi Barb! I have send two birthday cards on my to do list today. Can certainly add a note, too. Thanks! On rainy days, we have to make our own sunshine! Take care. Susan
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, Barb.
ReplyDeleteNothing like a letter from a friend to chase away the clouds.

I agree, Barb. Snail mail is to communication a little like holding a "real" book in one's hands instead of a kindle, etc. Have a good wek!
ReplyDeleteWhere are you? sandie
