A Lasting Show of Love

         Next time you go to the zoo or a public park, look around. I was at the zoo and noticed a variety of tributes to loved ones. For example, when I sat down on a bench, there was a plaque with these words, "In honor of". A married couple's name was inscribed on a plaque that was located on one of the slats. As I wandered down the walkway, I saw another small sign, "A memorial to".  This one was posted beside a lovely plant.  Throughout my walk, I noticed some other tributes: "Donated by";  "In memory of", and "Dedicated to". I am almost sure these plaques were placed in strategic places that had meaning for the honorees. What a wonderful way to show a lasting love.
