Connecting

Thank you, to Melody-mae, my newest follower. Visit her over at http://melody-mae.blogspot.com/
I had the pleasure of meeting two wonderful ladies whose blogs I follow: Linda O'Connell over at Write From the Heart, http://lindaoconnell.blogspot.com/  and Hope Clark at http://hopeclark.blogspot.com/
at Funds for Writers. Both of these ladies were at the Missouri Writers Guild Conference, held in St. Louis this weekend. It is wonderful to meet blogging friends up close and personal. Hence, the following poem is appropo for my feelings today.

I have some questions to ask of you.
Are you connected to our Saviour?
Is He connected to you?
Do you show His love in the things you say?
Do you spend time with Him throughout your day?
He connects with us through His word and prayer.
Are you connecting with others to show you care?
Each of us in life is a link in the chain.
Strength from each other we will surely gain.
If you have not been connecting,
Why not give it a try?
You just might be pleasantly surprised.

  3. I am so jealous! I would have loved to meet Hope Clark. I met Linda at a SLWG workshop on procrastination, but would have loved to be able to reconnect with her at the conference.

I imagine you had an amazing time! (You can tell me all about it in Boston!)
